Overcomers

"Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you" (Mt. 28:20a KJV). "For this is the LOVE of God, that we keep His commandments: and His commandments are not grievous. For whatsoever is born of God OVERCOMETH the world: and this is the VICTORY that OVERCOMETH the world, even our faith. Who is he that OVERCOMETH the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?" (I Jn. 5:3-5 KJV) "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." (Mt. 22:37-40 KJV)

We who have been born again have been called into the ministry. Jesus' first message in His hometown synagogue was "to preach the good news to the poor, heal the broken hearted, preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord". (Lk. 4:18-19 KJV)

The Overcomers is an extention of the Victoriuos Life Street Ministry where we can disciple those who are prepared to go deeper in the word of God. We need teachers, praise and worship leaders, and kitchen workers who are committed to see lives transformed by His word. We meet every Monday evening at 7:15pm at the Tulsa Dream Center, 200 West 46 St North.

God has called everyone of us to love those who are in great need. The Overcomers reaches out to the homeless of Tulsa to give them a hand up in God's unconditional-agape love.
