Victory Christian Cell Lesson

In this lesson you will learn how to walk in Jubilee. It is here, it is now, and it is in Jesus.

Jubilee is in Jesus – Luke 4:16-21.
1. Jesus said Jubilee is now and He is the Jubilee. He came to:
  1. Preach the gospel to the poor.
  2. Heal the brokenhearted.
  3. Proclaim liberty to the captives.
  4. Proclaim recovery of sight to the blind.
  5. Set at liberty those who are oppressed.
  6. Proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.
The year of Jubilee – Leviticus 25:8-54.
1. Leviticus 25:8-24 – The year of Jubilee was every fifty years. It was the year of God’s favor, blessing, and abundant provision. Jubilee is a year of restoration of everything that has been lost - your possessions, your land and home, and your family.
2. Isaiah 61:1-3 – Jesus gives us beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Jesus gives us restoration, abundance, liberty, and holy rest.
Jubilee is the victory shout.
1. “Jubilee” means acclamation of joy or a battle cry of joy. It is rejoicing while shouting. It is a high, joyful sound especially with trumpet.
2. Ezra 3:11 – The people shouted with a great shout.
3. Psalm 27:6 – I will sing praises to the Lord.
4. Psalm 33:3 – “Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully with a shout of joy.”
5. Psalm 47:5 – God has gone up with a shout, with the sound of a trumpet.
6. Psalm 89:15 – “Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound!”

BE A DOER OF THE WORD

Confess this: Jesus you are my Jubilee. You took my sin so I can have Your righteousness, You took my sorrow so I can have Your joy, You took my bondage so I can have Your freedom, and You took my darkness so I can have Your light in my life.
