Salvation is Good News

The 4 Spiritual Laws

  1. God loves you
  2. Sin separates you from God
  3. Jesus died for your sins
  4. You can be saved by confessing Jesus is Lord
Romans 10:9 If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

What is Sin?

Sin is not listening to God. God has told us clearly through the Bible what He wants us to do and what He expects us to keep from doing. Sin can be as sickening as rape or murder or as simple as forgetting to be kind to others. No matter how small it is, sin gets between us and God. If we cannot be with God, we cannot be in Heaven.

(Matt. 5:48, Matt. 18:3, Mark 9:43-48, Romans 6:23, Rev. 21:27, 2 Tim. 3:16-17, Luke 18:20, Matt. 22:37-39)

Matthew 5:48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

Matthew 18:3 and said, "Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven."

Mark 9:43-48 43If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched-- 44where "Their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched." 45And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame, rather than having two feet, to be cast into hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched--46where "Their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched." 47And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire-- 48where "Their worm does not die And the fire is not quenched."

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Revelation 21:27 But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

2 Tim. 3:16-17 16All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Luke 18:20 You know the commandments: "Do not commit adultery," "Do not murder," "Do not steal," "Do not bear false witness," "Honor your father and your mother."

Matthew 22:37-39 37Jesus said to him, "You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind." 38This is the first and great commandment. 39And the second is like it: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
